60th Annual Wayne County Farm Tour

As our nation celebrates America 250, we’re proud to celebrate a milestone of the 60th anniversary of the Wayne County Farm Tour! According to our records this historic tour began in 1966 with the Wooster Camera Club. Wayne County Farm Bureau assumed responsibility for organizing the tour in 1980 and has proudly continued that tradition ever since. Over the past 6 decades, countless members of Wayne County Farm Bureau have supported the farm tour by helping the planning committee, volunteering as tour hosts, or doing both! In honor of our nation’s agrarian heritage and in tribute to the continued agricultural production in Wayne County, the committee felt it appropriate to co-list this year’s Farm Tour alongside the America-250 celebrations taking place around the county. The 2026 tour offers a wide variety of stops that highlight both family-owned farming operations and agriculture related businesses. With great food and activities at each location, we hope this year’s tour offers something for everyone, no matter their age of connection to agriculture.

This year’s tour takes visitors through the northeast quadrant of Wayne County featuring Green, Baughman, Chippewa and Milton townships. The scenery throughout these townships is beautiful at this time of year. The gently rolling hills provide a picturesque landscape that is an added bonus to a full day of exploring. Simply driving on these roads is relaxing and enjoyable. As you travel the route, please remain alert, as hillcrests and curves can block your vision of slow-moving vehicles such as horse-drawn buggies, bicyclists, and farm equipment.
