The County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes in Shreve, Ohio, was formed in 1996-97 to promote interest in past and present history of the communities of Big Prairie, Centerville, Lakeville, Millbrook, Moreland, Nashville, the Village of Shreve, and the townships of Clinton, Franklin, Lake, Plain, Ripley and Washington in Wayne, Holmes and Ashland counties; and also, to promote greater appreciation of our heritage and broaden the education and participation in the communities of this area. The Society hopes to preserve as much historical and genealogical material as possible and has both permanent exhibits and feature collections.
