Doylestown
Doylestown, Ohio, is a quaint village sitting on the highest point in Wayne County. It all started back in 1827 when William Doyle decided to set up a town here. Before that, in 1813, Thomas Frederick from Pennsylvania was the first to settle in the area. Doyle bought some land, got a few friends to join him, and voila – Doylestown was born! The village became official in 1867, and over the years, it became known for things like brickmaking and its first school.
